Our Story.
From a favourite long-established golf clubhouse to a great local food, drinks and events venue.
Cheswick Inns took over the lease of the restaurant, lounge and facilities in June 2025. We also own Foxtons Wine Bar and Restaurant in nearby Berwick-upon-Tweed. Since then, a lot of hard work has gone in and continues to go into improving the facilities for all of our customers.
The new team at The Clubhouse are working hard to offer something very different from other, more limited golf club menus. We want to attract families, walkers, visitors to the town, local people, business people and of course, golfers too. Our menu is evolving, and we hope to get feedback from our customers as to their favourite dishes! Over time, we want to grow our seafood offer – that will be with the help of our Eyemouth seafood suppliers and fishers.

As part of a busy golf club, we are very keen to work with members and the committee to ensure a quality delivery of food, drinks and service for members, their guests and visiting parties too. We are delighted to work with golf professional Michael Hackett (who is based on the ground floor), to build golfers’ beverages and food packages for their special day out to Eyemouth Golf Course. Trusting a venue with your special occasion requires a good, clean, efficient venue, friendly but efficient front of house staff, reliable food and quality drinks. Putting on events is hugely important for our plan to make the building a stronger part of the local Berwickshire and North Northumberland communities. So we hope you entrust us with your plans.
